Also, Detroit has lost every time this season when either goaltender has started consecutively. Howard lost on 10/16 vs. Carolina after beating Tampa Bay on 10/13. Mrazek lost to Edmonton on 10/21 after losing to Montreal on 10/17. Mrazek lost to Carolina on 10/27 after beating Vancouver on 10/24. I see no reason not to keep alternating starts for the time being. How much better are his numbers?

I saw one on YouTube (can't get to it right now) that showed one from the game vs. Vancouver as the 1st dive. The Dallas one was much worse, imo.

The Department of Player Safety is a bunch of hypocrites. I think that is well established, so this isn't surprising. For hits like this, I think an explanation should be provided whether there is a suspension and/or fine or nothing. Explain why it deserves suspension and/or fine and explain why it doesn't. To seemingly ignore the hit completely looks like they don't want to discipline the player, but they can't defend the decision.

The league has watered the outdoor game deal down so much that it is now mundane. I think it would be funny if Detroit just wore their regular jerseys.

Well, there doesn't seem to be any evidence that they've even done that. So, be surprised, I guess. The DoPS remains consistently inconsistent.
