The first half of the season he didn't fit in the the Wings system. He looked like a Star in a Wings' uniform. The two or three weeks that lead up to his injury, however, were a different story. He was playing good Wings' style hockey and was showing up on the scoreboard to boot. 7 of his 8 points this season came in his past 11 games played. He's also +4 in that time.

Right now I'm willing to go slow with Howard. MacDonald is a capable back-up at this juncture and I want to see Howard earn the pipes again.

There are a lot better things you could do with 300 dollars.

Once somebody brought up Lidstrom's horrible +/- I started paying attention to whether he was on the ice for goals scored against us and its usually some freak thing where one player breaks down defensively or some crazy bounce occurs and Lidstrom just happened to be on the ice covering his man when it happened.

I think he destroyed Selanne to open the season, this year, but I may be mistaken.

I think the league should consider moving the ASG to the off-season. Put it around the time of the awards-show (hell, you could play it in Vegas annually in hopes of getting more fans) and opening of free-agency. It would bring a little more excitement to a pretty long and barren summer.

Draper has really been trying my patience lately.

Honestly, I haven't been paying too much attention to him out there until someone here mentioned that Lids is barely pulling even on the +/- stat. Once I read that I started paying more attention to his defensive partner, Stuie (cuz frankly Lids is playing some of the best hockey of his career). In the past two games Lids has been the sole defender back on three or four two-on-ones, and check out who's man Richards was supposed to be on that first goal against tonight. Again, I can't really comment on his play earlier than that because I haven't really been looking out for him, but its almost like Stuart's defensive game has gotten a bit lazy since being paired with Lids.

I'm honestly expecting him to. He's already been involved in a couple scrums.

I promise you guys Byfuglien wont have the Norris at the end of the year. I think its Lids' to lose right now, but watch out for Letang.
