Anything with Lazy-eye Bernstein is all right by me. And yes, I'm going to hell also.
-
Out with Scott Gordon, in with Gordon Bombay.

Erskine v Boulton. Fight riddled with haymakers.
-
They have the best hockey commercials. I absolutely love them.
-
Looks clean to me. I've had tickets that had font positioned both landscape and portrait with an image of a Wing off to the side or bottom. Go out and have fun tonight.

You know, the past two games I've noticed he's really upped his physicality. I would love to see Ericsson's body with Stuart's demeanor.
-
It didn't take long at all for this thread to hook Eva. I thought it would take at least 2 hours.

Yeah I've definitely noticed a steady improvement from his game, actually dating back to the first 4 or 5 games or so, but as of the past week he's really started to look more like a Red Wing and not a Dallas Star. Also just a side note (and not meaning to derail this thread but it doesn't deserve its own topic) but has anyone else noticed that Hudler replaced the Huds/Osgood postgame cluck with the Huds/Howard postgame goalie cage grab-and-shake?

Well as long as he knows the door can not even enter the straw I think it will end up being a graceful submission into retirement.
-
Lidstrom-Borque didn't happen because the hockey Gods refuse to see a defensive line with more talent than themselves. It's kind of the "dividing by 0" of hockey.

I sure hope the Wings take the Blues more seriously than LGW does. They're a young team with a good deal of balanced talent. They don't have any superstars to lean on, but they also don't have any salary greater than McDonald's 4.7M eating into their cap. Instead they succeed not on pure talent, but hard work and they get it from everyone on the ice. I don't care who's on your roster, if you have all 18 guys on the ice playing balls-to-the-wall hockey and working on the same page for 60 minutes you're gonna win games. They also have 3M in capspace for any glaring issues that might pop up between now and February. This team is legit and we're likely to verse them in the playoffs. Hopefully by then they'll have a little more respect and be taken a little more seriously.

I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be watching, exactly.
-
So for those of us who missed it, why was it so awesome?
-
I really don't like making excuses but I think the road-trip combined with the back-to-back games really didn't help. The first two periods we were on fire but as the game progressed the Wings started playing more flat-footed.
-
This is the first real test for the Wings this year. Out of all the teams we've versed so far, only two are currently in the top 8 in the Western Conference, and Chicago with their 15pts in 15 games is one of them.
-
Pssh. Phoenix has been doing this for Wings' games for years. Wait a minute...
-
Why retire when you're still the one of (if not the) best in the league at your position?
-
That's amazingly generous of you. So what happens when there's a tie?
-
Dear Franzen, Even though you haven't scored the past two games, it doesn't mean you must be injured. Stop scaring the fans. Sincerely, The fans.

http://www.thrashingtheblues.com/2010-articles/october/why-i-love-barret-jackman.html I have no idea when this occurred but its hilarious. The page was written Oct 14th, so possibly around then.

I've liked Salei. The only thing I really miss about Lilja is the shot blocking.

How do people mistake a tachometer for a clock?? That was one of the sweetest designs a Detroit goalie could have.
-
He's definitely looked amazing, but the most important thing is the Wings have been better since he left.
