I think something big may be needed here also, but I'm more willing to invest the future over the summer or next year when hopefully the team is a little more stacked to make a Cup run.

Realistically I want Holland to do what he can to get Franzen and Lilja into the lineup and keep our future draft picks and prospects where they are for now.

That's such a great song that's been whored out so much over the past couple years I can't stand listening to it anymore. The only time I enjoy it is during Wings' games when the crowd belts out the south detroit line.

Kozlov and Helm have the same amount of goals right now, and Miller has one less than each of them at 7. I don't know if Kozlov is fresh enough to be considered a natural scorer these days. Granted he is a year removed from a 26 goal season, but he's also one of the oldest players in the league. Personally I don't think its worth it, considering his play this season, his caphit, our capspace and the fact there are a number of other players the Wings could look to for scoring, should they find it necessary to trade for a goal scorer.

But what's the argument for him to be here? This just sounds like wanting to make a trade for the sake of making a trade.

Whats the argument for bringing Kozlov to Detroit?

In a way I with something was done about it also, however I wouldn't like the idea of giving a 2 min max penalty for a vicious high stick.

Well then I'll shift the comparison to Nashville, who we also gave up 8 goals to. They were also last in the Central and ended up in 10th place in the Western Conference.
