I always laugh when a "nickname for ..." pops up. I always thought nicknames kind of just spawned on their own accord, and weren't elected by the fanbase. Anyway, Helm is about as badass of a name I can think of, so I say no nickname necessary.

I feel Dats' injury occured prior to the Hawks' series. He seemed fine against the BJs, but in the Ducks' series, not only was he having difficulty scoring (which could be anything), he stopped hitting as well. This guy is known for hitting anything that moves in the postseason, and it was back then I was thinking it could be possible to see Dats sit a couple games due to an injury. I don't doubt that his foot is also injured, but I think there's something else there that hasn't been made public. But its all just speculation on my part. I could very well be wrong.

If I was the coach of a team thats about to face the Wings, I would look at all seven games of the Wings vs Ducks series and adapt their style. You may recall, actually, that I was a bit worried that Quennville would have the smarts to at least see what the Ducks did that made it so difficult for us to beat them. In any event, even if the Pens adapted the Ducks' defense-first style flawlessly, they don't have the tools to apply it as effectively as the Ducks or the Wings. The Pens' defense is mediocre at best, and while they are a relatively deep team, they still rely too heavily on Crosby and Malkin, who, in my opinion, aren't playoff calibre players the way Getzlaf and Perry were when together, but who knows, they may have adapted since last year.

I think Dats has been playing injured prior to the shot to the foot. Despite still being sound defensively, he hasn't been himself since the BJ series. Not only has he had trouble putting the puck in the net, but he also eased up on the physicality against the Ducks and Hawks, and I feel that's a telltale sign for him, considering how physical he plays in the postseason. Anyway, I'm not confident he'll be back.
