Leino has a better ppg ratio than both Zetterberg and Datsyuk's rookie years, and better than Zetterberg's sophomore year. If he played a full year at the rate he is at, he would end up about 4-5 points behind Datsyuk's 82 game potential in Dats' second year with the nhl. Not bad for his first 11 nhl hockey games, and only a half season of playing NA hockey. Pretty impressive, but these numbers are taken from an 11 game sample size, so keep that in mind.

I wouldn't want to verse the Stars in the first round, but I'm honestly less worried about the 1st two rounds this year than I have been in the past. -
Wow talk about Karma. I believe it was about 365 days ago when San Jose shot the puck into the netting and the Wings believed the play to be dead and the Sharks scored on that play. It was part of their 10 game win streak.

Ozzie would be backup and Conklin would probably become a no. 1 for a team in need next year (I'm looking at Ottawa). Howard might be shipped out of the organization by then.

I don't think legal hits are taken into strong consideration when choosing the Lady B winner. I always looked at it as the best-player-who-plays-within-the-rules-the-most award.

Very few things can make me laugh out loud when I'm completely alone. This is definitely one of them. edit: I'm changing my vote to Cheechoo as well. He is without a doubt the best player in the nhl right now. Better than Crosby and Datsyuk and Ovechkin. I have seen the error of my ways.
