The thing we gotta look at is whether Fillpulla will be "Hossa" good. Honestly if its between having Fillpulla for a couple years and Hossa, I would pick Hossa 10 times out of 10. I like Flips and all, but we're talking about Hossa, here...

I just like to watch them, mostly but seriously, they need to come back relatively soon. Scotty rested our top players in 02, and the Wings we're on such a dismal note to end the regular season, as well as start the post season. Besides, I don't like the idea of our injured players only getting one or two more games in before playoffs. Keep the rust off.

My friend and I are planning on seeing the Griffins in March, and my question to you folks is this: can we get away with buying tickets at the door and get a seat by either of the nets/corners, or are they popular enough that we should buy in advance and put up with all the "convenience" and shipping fees they love to pile on.

If this is really true in that he is only willing to go to Detroit, this could be very good for us in that the Leafs would be in a position to take what they can get. Yes, they aren't going to do a straight up trade Sammy for Sundin, but if Mats refuses to go anywhere else, then the Wings aren't competing with anyone's prices, and if Toronto wants to get anything at all for him, they might be willing to settle for less, just to get something at all.

Downey definitely unleashed the fury. Normally he seems pretty composed in a fight, but he really went at it on Laperierre. He was still swinging even as Lappy was turtling and the refs were tyring to save him.

For those of you that missed it SPOILERS AHEAD (because seriously its worth it to watch the video) Engblom was talking about the role fighting plays in hockey, and how its sometimes necessary, and got a little carried away and stood up during the broadcast and began to do his "fight pose", explaining as he made a "hearty fist" to the camera, what fighting was really all about. It was awesome, to say the least, but not for the reasons Engblom hopes.
