Even if we do verse Anaheim down the road, we can take Giguere. The last time he beat us we were a very different team, who had a horrible habit of shooting pucks into the chest. So Samuelson will have a hard time. Thats about it.

Lilja definitely gets some points, and after tonight's game, Lang does too. But even though he was a pretty solid player in the regular season (until his leg injury), I don't think anyone deserves more props than Cleary.

I'm so nervous and excited about this one. I'm confident/hopeful that we'll win this one, but Calgary is up against a wall and desperate, and they will be playing with everything they have, and for some reason they have a lot more when they're at home. Similarly for some reason, we have a lot less when we're in Canada... Either way, 4-2 Schneider, Cleary, Homer, Datsuk Tanguay, Lombardi

The ultimate irony story would have to be the following: There was a march that police officers somewhere took to raise money for several officers who died in action. Well two of the cops were jogging in front of an ambulance that was driving mostly to keep officers hydrated and whatnot.. well somehow the ambulance sped up uncontrollably and ran over the two officers they were supposed to protect (and killed them) all to raise money for the original dead police. True story.

The main reason why I think Langkow got off the hook was because Detroit never said Lebda is out because of a resulting concussion. He actually hurt himself from bending his leg against the boards the wrong way, but they tried to walk the 'concussion' line by saying Lebda is out because of headaches. Now you should be able to see where that gets iffy. He got punched, but its pretty clear that he doesn't have a concussion. With that said, what I'm worried about is a torn acl or something similar.
