I don't see why he wouldn't play for Chicago, they aren't by any means a physical nor a fast-paced team. It would be a much better first game than a playoff game against anyone, least of all Calgary.

How many seats does the Joe have? Whatever it is, the new arena should have much more seats. There have been so many times where I wanted to go to a sellout game, only to see half the seats on tv empty because of all the corporate businesses buying season tickets. Also, they should set up some sort of corporate deal at the top of the lower bowl or something, so real fans can take the good seats at ice level. And above all, there should be more leg room for us 6 foot + type guys

I really hope any new arena thats build doesn't take the name of some corporate business. Yzerman Arena sounds nice

How much does Maltby make? I personally think Lang needs to go. There are enough younger, more energetic and inspired players that can do much more than Lang for much less.

Hopefully this easy exit from the regular season doesn't put us into relax mode for the first round. The 8th seen will definitely bring it come playoff time.

That is so cool! When i was in midget hockey my coach knew al ot of wings, and for our end of the season hockey party he told us to bring something we wanted signed by Yzerman. We all went to my coach's house with novelty shirts, jerseys, etc and started the party with alot of enthusiasm. It was about a half hour into the party when we were all downstairs playing pool when my coach came down followed by Stevie Y himself telling us he wanted to introduce us to him. It was one of the greatest moments of my life, and I definitely know how exciting this is for you

The wings do have a lot to prove, but I wouldn't consider them out of hope for another stanley cup. If you're competing for the Presidents Trophy you will always be a contender for the cup. Always. Besides, what we've been lacking in past postseasons (grit and size) we have this year. Cups aren't won on pretty goals alone, and the team has definitely realized that by now, seeing as how they picked Calder and Bertuzzi to compliment our team. Robert Lang has a pretty good history in the playoffs, and has been a pretty solid player aside from this single year. Every team thats in the playoffs right now is within like 10 points of each other. I really don't think it matters much who we verse if you're measuring by skill alone. The cup this year will be won with hunger
