QUICK PUT KINDL OUT THERE
-
wow how bout that
-
It would be painful to lose two games to the Ducks due to last minute gaffes after outplaying them in both games.
-
I was at that game. I've never heard the Joe so loud in my life. I had no voice for a week.
-
Helm is so fun to watch
-
damn Smith just laid someone out on a counterhit
-
"Six redwings touched this puck before it went into the net" Oh Osgood. Its like someone took just the bad parts of Larry Murphy and put them into a new body.
-
no worries pal I caught the replay
-
well to be fair us guys only have to deal with one thing bouncing around when we run
-
Helm had a solid forecheck on the defender behind his own net, forced the guy to throw the puck up the boards where Datsyuk was tight on some Duck there. The Duck mishandled the puck, or tried redirecting it away from the boards, I dunno which, but either way Datsyuk picked it off, took a couple strides toward the net, used a defender as a screen and ripped a shot into the corner of the net. He just scored again, too. Someone will have to recap that play for me cuz I MISSED IT TYPING THIS

Oh I have no doubt. I'm really looking forward to watching this kid develop. I just like pointing out people's flaws. But for real, I do like seeing where young players' weaknesses are, and keeping an eye on how they progress in those areas. And as of right now there are two things that I've not liked about Teemu's game as of this season: 1) early on he wasn't very involved in the cycle, and didn't really support the puck carrier. He would hide in his shooting lane and hope the puck would come to him. 2)The aforementioned desire to shoot the puck on low-scoring chances, which typically leads to turnovers. The first issue he has been steadily improving on, but still has some ways to go before I'm satisfied.

ahem...

The Wings are skating pretty hard. I feel like we've been pretty physical actually, and playing the Ducks pretty tight. The puck is really bouncing out there, though, so there were some potentially solid scoring chances that were squandered because the puck bounced the wrong way. Its 0-0 but the Wings for sure outplayed the Ducks in the first. One thing I'm coming to hate about Pulkkinen: he takes a lot of low-percentage shots. I'd rather see him hang onto the puck and try to set a play up with his team instead of shoot unscreened from 40 feet out along the wall, and essentially give the puck away.

I'll be here all night

That's what I told my girlfriend edit: because she designs fonts.

Hey guys I got tickets to the game RIGHT NEXT TO THE BOX! And guess who just stepped in?? KRONWALLLLL!!
-
Is it just me, or does it seem like linesmen have been missing (letting go?) a lot of close offsides calls this season?
-
Given the option of Marchenko and Oulette, I'm really feeling Marchenko. GOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLL!!!!!!!
-
Thats one way to score
-
The puck is bouncing all over the place

Excellent pinch there to force the turnover. Was that Kronwall?
