Yeah I also think the Pats are Belichek more than anything else. Brady is a good quarterback, but I think Belichek wins rings with any top 10 QB in the league over any given year. The guy's system is as close to flawless as possible.

20 min honestly aint bad at all! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Depending on when you go there might be a decent wait time, so just heads up about that. Food is on point though.
-
It sounds like hes having a hissy fit because he wasn't handed the number 1 position for the whole year, frankly.
-
for some reason its oddly familiar

I know right? I had some friends over a couple weeks ago and we found out one of them had never seen Signs. Literally to this day the only movie to legit scare me. I remember being scared to look out my bedroom window when I was younger because I might see an alien silhouette on my neighbor's roof. That also started quite the alien/UFO phase in my life.

Frans Nielsen will represent Red Wings at NHL All-Star Game

Well it's much easier to not have to defend when you're too busy scoring #teammalkin -
I agree but my point was if you want to tank you want a s***ty coach to help increase the odds of that happening. People who support tanking might be against grabbing a Hitchcock-type because the Wings may climb in the standings and end up getting the 13th pick instead of top 3, and may make the playoffs altogether next year with a mediocre team. If you want to stockpile many top picks you probably want a crummy coach getting you there, then once the picks have accumulated then you transition to a quality coach. But like I said, I disagree with that line of thinking.

I guess the other question would be if you're committed to doing a full rebuild do you want to crash and burn next year as well and stack multiple top picks in consecutive years ala Edmonton and Pittsburgh, or do you want to try to take what we can this year and start working your way back up immediately. If you want a full rebuild maybe Hitchcock is not the answer and Blashill is. I personally want him here though.

Gotta look out for those psychics The Blash comment is interesting, you're correct. But at the same time a little adversity I think will put a dampen on any professional relationship where people are paid to hold others accountable.
-
Throw tons of money at this guy, I personally think he's one of the better coaches in the league, and the opportunity to grab a coach of similar caliber or better probably isn't all that great.

Leaders don't walk out on their teams. Coreau is shaping up to be quite the team player.

Ken Holland is an attractive guy. But if that was the case he would want to flame bait me too because I am Ken Holland. -

I always considered the Selke more of a "Untraditional Defense" trophy. -

Nothing to discuss there. Nielsen>Toews. A more compelling question would be if Neilsen is greater than Malkin or Ericsson. We've already established Ericsson's worth every penny of that contract, but Malkin is 14th all time in points/game. Its a toss-up, frankly. -
We've established that Jonathon Toews is greater than Malkin because of intangibles and leadership, and leadership often comes with experience, and experience often comes with age, and grey hair also often comes with age. Therefore Miller is a great leader and he has intangibles, things that are valued over scoring. Ergo, Larkin is the odd man out.

Send Larkin down instead

Toews is worth 15M
