gowingsgo 3 Report post Posted December 11, 2005 Congrats to Mr. Bush for winning the Heisman this year. I know it technically has not been awarded yet tonight.....but this should be a unanimous decision. Best college RB I've ever seen. He's better than LT in San Diego right now! betterREDthandead 58 Report post Posted December 11, 2005 Bush will get it but I think Vince Young should instead. Bush can run....Young can run and throw. End of story. At least this year there's no Jason White up there to steal a Heisman from someone clearly more deserving. Bush is a worthy candidate.
RedLionWings 0 Report post Posted December 11, 2005 My call, Bush wins in a landslide. I bet he wins by the biggest margin ever. Which was Ricky Williams, I believe he had like 85% of the vote.
gowingsgo 3 Report post Posted December 11, 2005 Vince Young had a good year. But he is no Reggie Bush. Bush is the MOST electrifying college football player I have ever seen. If you watched any USC games this year you saw what he meant to that team with his big plays. He only average 8.7 yards per carry or whatever they said and 10 yards per touch. Dude is sick USC will dominate Texas in the Rose Bowl.

gowingsgo 3 Report post Posted December 11, 2005 Just read the article on the award. Bush had the highest percentage of votes in Heisman history. More than Ricky Williams did when he won. The only person with more first place votes was OJ Simpson...back when they casted over 1,200 votes. They only cast below 900 votes this year and Bush received right below 800. You may be sick of hearing about USC, but they are going to be around for a while. They have stud players stock piled and will have a top tier recruiting class to replace some of their guys leaving. USC will be good as long as Pete Carroll is there...which is going to be for a long time. Carroll has a fair easy conference and can lead the trojans to the national championship every year. Hockeytown Red Wings 245 Report post Posted December 11, 2005 I wanted to root so badly for Vince Young to get it all year, but it would have been a travesty to not give it to Bush, the best college football player in a long time.
