redwings1914 18 Report post Posted January 21, 2006 No thanks, as NN said, the first rounder is too much, and Franzen is one of those players that come by a dime a dozen, but he really excels at it, so I would consider him un-tradeable in this scenario.... fatcat6 0 Report post Posted January 26, 2006 Now that I look at this again, to trade Franzen would be a mistake. He's going to be a really good part of this teams future in the next few years. Mowers, go ahead and trade the guy. No ones going to miss him. And I'm not a fan giving away our 1st round pick after having our first last year thanks to the lock out, and it was our first in like what, 3-4 years? (I really don't know that time length) I really don't want Witt here though, because he's somewhat old, and Pettinger would be fine. I'd like Pettinger here, but for a one on one trade, I don't have the slightest clue what it would take to land him.
