I read a comment somewhere yesterday, I think on CNN, that said in effect, "why are African-American basketball players called out for this behavior, while there's nothing wrong with white hockey players doing the same thing."

That frosted my cookies.

If a brawl in the NHL took place the way this one did, with it spilling into the stands, coaches getting involved, and third-men-in left and right, you can be guaranteed that there would be fines, suspensions, and maybe even expulsions, along with a giant, permanent stain on the league.

And you just know that comment was made by some bleeding heart liberal (and as a liberal, I feel justified in busting on my own gang ) who's never watched a hockey game before in his life, but knows all about it from the Bertuzzi/Moore incident.

The whole "gangsta" mentality makes me sick. One of the Denver Broncos got killed last night in a shooting spree prompted by some night club spat at 2am. I guess a bunch of Denver Nuggets and Broncos were there. I hope they catch the loser cowards that shot off their guns - in my world they'd get shot themselves by a firing squad, but I'm sure some lawyer will embelish some sypathy for their pathetic behaviors. Sucks, it was at an intersection I drive through with my kids alot.
