ltgator333 3 Report post Posted February 8, 2007 Ok, I feel it necessary to add another dimension to the discussion- Aside from home ice advantage, I would rather see the wings come in 4th at the end of the season and have San Jose overtake Anaheim in the Pacific and play Anaheim 1st round. Playing against a potential wing-killer (Giguere) right off would be a great 'litmus test' I suppose to see whether the wings are a playoff team, or spare us all the agony and get it over quick. Or you could look at it that Anaheim has been in a steady decay since mid-season and they might be a soft first round compared to the potentially lethal offense of San Jose, that has effectively nailed the wings a few times this season.
