Aussie_Wing 354 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 Scored his first NHL goal today, was +2 and had 4 SOG in 13 minutes. As you will remember we gave this young sniper away in the Robert Lang trade. I was very disappointed when we included him in the deal as I believe he will turn out to be a very handy NHL player. I guess time will tell.

sWINGED 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 don't worry, you'll continue to be able to have it both ways: holland doesn't make a move at the deadline, people will complain about that for years. kenny does make a bold move at the deadline, and people will for years update everyone on how the prospects are doing that he foolishly gave away. Airborn 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 He's had a pretty decent year in Hershey (I'm judging purely on stats here). He's averaging right around a point per game.
DyingAlive 27 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 He had a nice goal vs Brodeur. Haha, Marty went down to swipe him and the puck bounced off his stick and just lobbed into the net.
Guest Crymson Report post Posted February 25, 2007 (edited) Scored his first NHL goal today, was +2 and had 4 SOG in 13 minutes. As you will remember we gave this young sniper away in the Robert Lang trade. I was very disappointed when we included him in the deal as I believe he will turn out to be a very handy NHL player. I guess time will tell. Hindsight is 50/50. He also could have turned out to be another Alexandre Daigle, and everyone seemed pretty happy with the Lang deal. It was too good to pass up, as the Caps were running a firesale at the time. Edited February 25, 2007 by Crymson

CloudConnected 0 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 Fleischman is the same player we have in overabundance in our system. Smallish forward who has some skill. He's not gonna be Hank or Pavel part 2, so really it's not a huge loss giving him up.
FinWing 26 Report post Posted February 25, 2007 Flip and Rex are both better and born in the same year as Fleisch.
