BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted March 5, 2007 The Preds are so small, but they're fast. The Ducks are brutalizing them physically. It's like watching a Red Wings game where Detroit is just getting manhandled all over the ice. The Preds are missing a few key guys with injuries, but man, they're in almost the same tough situation the Wings are come playoff time. The Wings are worse off because at least the Preds have some toughness. But a big team will just pound the sh** out of Nashville in a 7 game series and they'll have to win with speed and skill. And goaltending, of course. Vokoun has been playing great in this game.

Anaheim would have trouble scoring, but I think they would pound the sh*t outta our guys.

BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted March 5, 2007 Detroit needs to somehow avoid San Jose, Anaheim and Calgary in the first round. Probably the three teams they're most likely to play

Zeta Power 40 1 Report post Posted March 5, 2007 (edited) 2 pts behind...we have a game in hand...wow tuesday's game is huge. With a win in regulation, we would take 1st in the west....GO WINGS! Edited March 5, 2007 by Red Wings
ProudestMonkey 0 Report post Posted March 5, 2007 (edited) With a win in regulation, we would take 1st in the west....GO WINGS! Actually, you wouldn't. Nashville would have 44 wins and Detroit would have 42. Nashville wins the tiebreaker so the standings would remain the same. But you are damn right about Tuesday's game being huge...I can't wait! I just hope we get Forsberg, Legwand, Arnott, and Sullivan all back by then! Edited March 5, 2007 by ProudestMonkey
BlueMonk 102 Report post Posted March 5, 2007 Whoa, Forsberg didn't play? I must have missed that. Why was he out?
