Flip-check 6 Report post Posted March 9, 2007 If you hand señor Roberto Lango one of these and an invite to find a new career in the world of construction, would he miss the joke? Or would he catch it and punch you in the face? "Only men at work wear these, mi amigo. Not hockey players turned failed singer-songwriter/turned failed actor/turned successful loaf of cheese with skates. Seriously.. can't you hear can't you hear the thunder?" But enough ripping on Bob, though it is fun. And apparently those smelling salt treatments are bringing him out of his coma besides. I just spotted this on the NHL store and thought it was the bizarrest thing ever. Why, NHL retail merchandisers, why?
Legionnaire11 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2007 Lots of construction workers like to represent their teams. And especially independant contractors who don't have uniform dress codes that big corporations do. I work in the home building business and get to visit jobsites regularly. I see all kinds of guys with Titans logos on their hard hats and a select few various other logos too.
BetweenThePipes 0 Report post Posted March 9, 2007 Our Puckheads at NMU wear hard hats to the games...I don't know why, but its kinda cool, I guess. Just another way to show you're a Wings fan!
Flip-check 6 Report post Posted March 9, 2007 If GARY had his way, the NHL would wear ballerina outfits. Reports from the Inside are: He's seen the Tootoo "photoshopped" ballerina shot, and he approves.
Jwo 7 Report post Posted March 10, 2007 I have seen Red Wing fans wear hard hats at games with a working goal light attached at the top.
