puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 Nucks just nailed the post, and took a penalty. Anyone else think it's gonna be 4-0 soon? The first one from Lankow was just a good shot over the glove. The second was on a 2 on 1, and the third was off a rebound of an Iginla shot into a wide open cage, I don't think he had a good chance to stop the last two goals. that's kind of what I suspected. Luongo is not prone to Cloutier-esque behavior. Thanks for the recap.
HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 I just realized the Wings game tomorrow is at 12:30! I though it was at 2 for some reason? I guess it's breakfast with the Wings then.

Did anyone tell Dom? last time they had an early start, he almost didn't make it out there. Have they said who's in goal vs. Columbus?
edicius 3,269 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 Edi, did you see the goals? I was watching Dallas and my neighbor was here. She went home. Tired of hockey? Anyway, was Luongo liable on the goals? Judging from who scored them, I'd tend to think not. I only saw the last two. Defense was liable on both of them (especially the shorty), but it almost seemed like Luongo didn't even TRY to get over and make the save on the pass and shot. I mean, I can understand a goalie getting fooled, but he didn't move at ALL. If Luongo DOES get pulled, it won't be his fault.

Ah crap, I'll really have to get the wife up early for grocery shopping then. WOW, nice passing from Vancouver. Not for lack of trying...they deserve a goal soon. I think Dom is going to play both games against the Jackets and then Ozzie will get one of the two against the Hawks. He always plays really well against them. Then again..I could be absolutely wrong on who starts when.

Hockeytown0001 7,652 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 (edited) Calgary penalty to Hamrilik, then he takes an extra 2 for unsportsmanlike for slamming the door shut! Nucks better take advantage Edited April 1, 2007 by Hockeytown0001

So you are probably as right as anyone can be. All I know is Dom is going to Wrestlemania as soon as he lands in Detroit, with his son. Wish it wasn't such an early game, they don't usually play well in the afternoon. Dom will be crabby since he lost last game, he usually comes back with a stingy game next time out. If anyone else shows up, I mean. Otherwise, I am not sure what else he, or Oz, could do to win. Hamrlik with the unsportsmanlike, extra 2. didn't his mama teach him not to slam the door!? Haha my cousins are going to be there. I want to go so bad. I guess I'll have to deal with just ordering it tomorrow night to watch.

puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 (edited) good gosh, Ottawa can score goals by just looking at the puck. I wish we had offense like that, sometimes. Sick. Briere. What a player. He is Buffalo. I wish I had watched that game, too, they hate Montreal beyond all reason in Buffalo. whoever said we would be OK with Wild in round one, yeah, I agree. We could take them, I think. HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 Start of the third. A little over 3 minutes left on the Nucks PP. It amazes me with as taltented as the Sens are, they never go far into the playoffs. Maybe this year it's a different story.
puckloo39 5,686 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 Luongo is still in, beginning of the third. It's not like they have a back up who's played this season at all (73 games for Luongo so far). Poor Noronen. He thought he was invisible in Buffalo, but little did he know what invisible really meant.

The Sens are a collection of very talented individuals who do not play as a team, and we know the Cup is a team affair.

Last season in NHL 07 for me, Vancouver plucked Dom from free agency...so they had Dom AND Luongo.

HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted April 1, 2007 Is it safe to say that if the Flames win tonight, that the Avs won't make the playoffs? I mean I know they CAN make it IF they win the rest of their games and the Flames lose the rest, but still.... Ooh Nucks score.
