Bob_Essensa 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 OK, we all know that the move from S.J. to Calgary DRASTICALLY(understatement) improved Kiprusoff's game, but if he had remained in S.J., and was given more starts and gained confidence, and was able to elevate his game to where it is nowadays, how do you like our chances in this series? aarond 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 Who knows? More importantly, though, what if the Oil still had Essensa? Maybe Detroit goes to the SC final last year.

Captain_Yzerman19 1 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 This isn't really a fair topic, because Kipper didn't develop until after he left San Jose.. who knows, maybe he wouldn't be known yet if he was still in SJ.
Bob_Essensa 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 It was just a "what if" kinda thing.Kind of a mute topic though I guess.
sibiriak 84 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 (edited) We beat Kipper in Calgurly and we'd beaten him now in SJ. And since we have the time machine, I'd like the Russian Five back. Edited May 8, 2007 by sibiriak
krudmonk v2.0 0 Report post Posted May 8, 2007 So having Kiprusoff makes the defense older and wiser? It makes Marleau care more? I'll keep that in mind.
