13dats 1 Report post Posted May 9, 2007 The National Hockey League has selected the 16 officials who will work the conference final round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, with veteran officials leading the way. Among the eight referees who will receive third round assignments are Don Koharski and Bill McCreary, both of whom have more than 20 years experience. McCreary has worked in every Stanley Cup final series since 1994, while Koharski has been a referee since 1977. The four referees from the second round who did not get called to work the conference final series are Dave Jackson, Marc Joannette, Dennis LaRue and Kelly Sutherland. NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted May 10, 2007 I've always been impressed with Bill McCreary's officiating, which is why I was so surprised by the job he did in Game 3 against Calgary. I've never seen him call as poor of a game as I found that one to be.
