I'll probably end up seeing it. I have this feeling that Jackson is gonna end up with a flash severe 1 punch knockout on Liddell. Like Liddell's kicking his ass and then BOOOM its over. Chuck is awesome and i normally always go with him, but its just the way things have been going in the UFC lately.

Theyve been getting all kinds of pub on ESPN lately, its great. I think its officially on the verge of overtaking boxing. Its extremely important that the main even lives up to the billing, this will be the biggest buy rate in UFC history.

Well you called it, that was such an upsetting fight. GSP and Liddell both lose in the same matter ... still love UFC though, the other fights tonight were awesome.

I won lots of money betting with RAMPAGE... This same thing happend to Franklin, Silvia came into the UFC from pride beat Leben then won the title from ACE... Same thing tonight RAMPAGE won his first fight coming into UFC then boom wins a title ;)

I didnt end up ordering it, which im kinda glad about. I watched the Chuck fight today and i wouldve been really let down. Quinton beat him fair and square dont get me wrong, but it was just so anti-climactic.

I told everyone i knew, and tried to bet them as well, that Silva would kill Franklin. Silva is very susceptible to losing on the ground though, but any standup first oriented fighter he'll kill in his weight class. I knew Franklin would try and slug it out.

I'd actually take Nathan Marquardt to beat Silva via submission, but he's had some boring fights so i know the UFC would probably try and avoid that matchup.

I can't wait for Liddell/Rampage 3. And even though this may sound a little crazy, I think Chuck will take the 3rd fight.

Whats going on lately in the UFC is not a good thing imo. St Pierre losing to Serra, Cro Cop losing to Gonzaga, and now Ice Man getting melted has left them with really no dominant fighters in any weight class. Parity like that may be good for other sports but not for fighting ones. You need those marquee seemingly unstoppable names at the top to get people excited when new challengers are thrown their way. Now its just like a big jumbled mess, no one really wants to see Gonzaga/Cotoure headlining a card, or Serra vs anybody at the top. Obviously i know theres nothing the UFC can do since the outcomes arent scripted like wrestling, but this is bad.

Anderson Silva is the closest thing right now, but trust me, he will lose in the near future.

UFC 72 is looking like one of the worst cards i have ever seen....its like a Fight Night card. Gotta love Forrest Griffin vs Hector Ramirez actually being on the commercial as the second main fight. What a joke! What the hell are they doing with this crap...way to build off all that publicity youve gotten lately!

Silva vs Marquardt is set for UFC 73.
