129 CAMERON, RANDY QMJHL MONCTON 28-Jan-89 5' 11" 175 * C R

he was ranked 129th in the north american list .........i would of taken a goalie

http://www.moncton-wildcats.com/en-ca/team...p?PLAYER_ID=159

he had 39 pts and 17 goals in 70 games

Cameron is a solid all round forward that can play either center or right wing. Currently he is ranked 129th in the central scouting rankings for the 2007 NHL entry draft.

I found some stats on him....doesn't appear to be a skilled player.

Played in the QMJHL (moncton wildcats) 17-22-39 in 70 gms

yup it was his 1st yr i guess there hopeing he becomes a guy who has a good 2nd season , he had 17 goals in his 1st yr , i can see him getting 30+ goals next year in the juniors, but i would of went for the goalie

we got 2 picks left , one will be a goalie and the other a swedish player we never heard of that they hope will be a gem lol

I saw that too. I'm confused in why the Wings drafted him , I agree with Kindlwillbegreat the Wings should have went for a Goaltender.

I hope they take a goalie in the 6th and this dude in the 7th:

TPS • Finland

6'1", 192 lbs. Center, shoots left

Born: March 20, 1989 in Turku, Finland

Final Ranking: 14 • Mid-Term Ranking: 11 • European Skater

Central Scouting Report: A versatile forward with good skating ability… has good stickhandling skill and is effective in one-on-one situations… sees the ice very well and creates scoring chances for his teammates… works hard and has

good speed… needs to improve his shot… does not shy away from the physical play, but needs to add a physical presence to his game… played for Finland at the 2007 Under-18 World Championships.

the only thing i can think of is they see potential and think he'll have a better 2nd year , like mcgrath pretty much did but , mcgrath doesnt look like hes going anywhere

Do you think that McGrath can still make it to the NHL? I know he struggled and it was his first season with the Griffins , but i still thaught he would have done alot better.

That's ok. I've asked a few people in the San Jose area who, in their opinion, is/was the best all-time player in NHL history, and their answer was Jonathan Cheechoo.

he is definetly my favorite player, but most SJ fans do not think he is the best player of all-time.

sorry for the delay i had to step out ........i think were better off trading mcgrath now for a 3rd pick or somethin i dont think he'll make it ..........dam while i left we lost 2 other d men that i liked

163 MTL NICHLAS TORP

170 MIN HARRI ILVONEN

i got back right in time for the wings .........we'd better take a goalie !!! brenda or owuya

78 DET ZACK TORQUATO 6/8/1989 Sault Ste Marie, ON CA 6' 0" 195 OHL ERIE C R

LOL jesus christ , so much for a goalie being a top priority , who the hells this punk lol :P

http://www.saginawspirit.com/ss/home.nsf/P...rquato_Zack.htm

Zack has the distinction of scoring the first playoff goal in Spirit history on 3/24/06 against the Guelph Storm. He won a gold medal with Team Canada in the 2006 U-18 World Junior Cup.

he played the prospects game they said on tv in 2007 , and the commentator said another steal for detroit ? well have to see lol :P

i think they took him too cause mursak plays for the spirit too no ?? i guess they got 2 players to check on the same team now lol

Ok ......who's thinking the last Wings pick will be Swedish???.. :P:lol:

thats a good bet but if i were a betting man id say the reason the wings havent taken a goalie yet is cause there gonna take some goalie from europe no ones heard of yet ........in the top rankings for goalies only the 1st ranked goalie was taken , no european goalies taken besides him

take your pick lol ......... number 2 .......7 ........and 14 are from sweden lol i say we take number 7 lol
