i think our next pick will be a goalie ...........theres still a few guys ( but we unfortunetly got 40 picks ahead of us lol )

mark owuya ........kent patterson ........juha metsola

lol you didnt miss alot ... he just said his game is like zetterberg and that zetterberg is faster but his bigger ... thats pretty much it

zetterberg ?? ............hes a little cocky kid ah :P .......lets hope hes right LOL

these guys are still in the draft .........

Alexander Vasiliev, LW, Dynamo Moscow 2 (Russia)

Vasiliev is another Russian whose talent level deserves first-round consideration. However, the lack of a transfer agreement for player compensation will keep him out of Round 1.

Juraj Valach, D, Tri-City Americans (WHL)

Whenever a player is compared to Boston Bruins captain Zdeno Chara, there is always the temptation to pick him in a draft. Slovakian Valach will get plenty of attention as a result.

Kent Patterson, G, Cedar Rapids RoughRiders (USHL)

If Jeremy Smith doesn't go first among netminders this year, Patterson might be the next-best option. He has as much upside as any draft-eligible puck-stopper but is very raw.

Doubt he has the offensive upside like zetterberg, although like someone said, he could be a combo of filppula and franzen

If he can be a combo of those two , then Andersson is gonna be frickin awsome. IMO.

Lookin at a couple of guys who the wings could get in the 5th:

JOSH KIDD

A stay-at-home defenseman with good size… has a good shot from the point… is a versatile player and very effective on the penalty kill… works hard every shift and has good mobility for his size… needs to improve his stickhandling skills and needs to make better decisions with the puck under pressure.

OR

HARRI ILVONEN 6'3 D Finland

A playmaking defenseman with strong skating ability…a mobile skater with good hands… makes good decisions with the puck and able to make passes through traffic… defensively reliable and versatile… uses his size and reach to his advantage… needs to improve his first step quickness.

here is Marek Benda's description:

A butterfly goalie... controls his rebounds well and is quick to cover the puckâ€Â¦ is a good skater and moves well in his creaseâ€Â¦ covers the upper half of the net well with his quick blocker and gloveâ€Â¦ is very determined

and competitiveâ€Â¦ represented the Czech Republic at the 2007 Under-18 World Championships.

Nicholas Torp looks to be pretty good....but we have quite a few d'man like him in the system (meech, pyett, etc). Rather get a D'man with some size or one of the goalies.

true .......i definetly think its a goalie , i checked the rankins and mark benda was ranked 7th and mid rankings and now hes 3rd .......its either him or owuya ...........man its been a long day for us wings fans almost 3 hrs and one pick selected lol

i wouldnt mind this guy .......i saw him on a site listed as a sleeper pick with potential ( brendan bell was on that list)
