Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted August 8, 2007 (edited) Another name pulled right out of the blue. Reinprecht isn't even a free agent, so I don't know where he get's this stuff. He's still under contract with Phoenix. He's not even worth it, to be honest. We'd have to give up a current roster player or draft picks for a guy that missed 33 games last year because of a shoulder injury, and has had serious injuries before a few seasons ago. Unless Phoenix is looking to dump him for dirt cheap, he's not worth it. If he did come cheap, he'd be an ok guy to have, because he's a capable top 6 forward. Still, it would have to be for basically nothing, like Hudler or a very low round draft pick. Edit: Ok, seriously, I actually looked at his blog, and look at some of the names he has coming here: Bryan Berard Janne Niinimaa Nils Ekman Darren McCarty Steven Reinprecht (trade) Marcel Hossa (trade) Talk about major ass-chamber rumors. Markov must have some connections on Long Island. These other names he has going to the Wings are just ridiculous though. Janne Niinimaa? Why in the world would the Wings want a guy like Niinimaa, who's primaraly an offensive defenseman but hasn't up decent numbers in a long time, is on the decline, and is horrible defensivily? Same thing with the new one: Steven Reinprecht. I can't believe the Wings would have interest in another center, and one who has injury problems at that.
