theman19 47 Report post Posted August 22, 2007 http://www.yahoo.com/s/656953 to me, yet another example of why hockey is a different sport all together. now i am in no way shape or form comparing Tiki barber to Steve Yzerman, but i know for a fact if Yzerman got on T.V. and questioned Pavel Datsyuk's leadership no one would crap on Steve. Granted that would be an entirely different situation for what Steve is about (he wouldn't do it first off) but it just mystfies me how everyone and there momma jumps to Eli's defense. When this kid was first drafted all i could think was how freaking spoiled he was. Drafted first overall, but you refuse to play for that team? That's crap, in any sport (i'm looking at you eric lindros) anyway i digress,..i don't like either of them as people but if a guy who's been the giants best player for years questions your leadership, getting snotty is kinda funny to me. Tiki has NO ROOM to talk. He was such a "Giant" distraction in the frickin middle of the season. Tiki totally effected team moral. Then he has the nerve to publicly rip Eli because Eli doesnt have the "Peyton" type personality? Thats total bulls*** coming from Tiki. He shouldnt throw stones in a glass houes.
