New Leafs Jersey

WTF is the McDonald's logo doing on the front of the away jersey? I don't like either as much as the one posted earllier. I also don't like the away logo.

The white jersey they showed is the Marlies jersey. McDonald's is a major sponsor of the Marlies.

I think they're sweet. I've always really liked the Maple Leaf's jerseys. Except the one where the Leafs is all bumpy looking. I like the smooth, sleek looking Leaf. In fact, other than the Red Wings jersey, the Leafs jersey is my favorite.

This is the jersey the Leafs will unveil in a few hours (3pm).

Horizontal striping on the bottom is gone, TML logo on the shoulders gone, silver around letters and numbers gone.

Home jersey is exactly the same as the one above with the blue and white reversed.

Guess they lied huh? I dont see the tie-ups on any of the uni's from the press conference.

1. They did make alterations to it. Alterations which effectively turned this into a glorified practice jersey.

2. It wasn't really a classic to begin with. The jersey this was derived from was only introduced in the early '90s. Sure, the Leafs used a similar version during the Original Six era, but it had a different logo, blue shoulders, horizontal stripes and an additional blue stripe at the lower arm. And from their last Cup year in '67 until '92 or so, they had something different.
