sergei_is_still_a_wing 1 Report post Posted September 16, 2007 ps3 is sweet and all but i couldn't justify the extra money over the xbox 360. got one used on cragslist for 400 with 7 games and 2 controllers. unbeatable price. and NHL 08 looks more or less the same to me... although the blu-ray is AMAZING. ill give it that for sure. Aris 0 Report post Posted September 16, 2007 The 360 version of NHL 2008 is actually significantly better as far as graphics go than the PS3 version this year. The PS3 version's frame rate can't even hold a steady 30 FPS, while the 360 version runs at a blistering 60 FPS. EA's just very lazy in their programming, and the PS3 is a notoriously difficult system to develop for. I'm kind of a game geek, sorry. The first thing I noticed about the game is how bad the player rankings are, and a complete lack of rookies. Sergei Zubov a 94? LOL.
