Opie 308 Report post Posted September 18, 2007 yahoo This guy was always solid, not an HOF-er but a solid netminder for 20 years.
BigTex 1 Report post Posted September 18, 2007 Best of luck Burke. Always good to see a guy go out on his own terms. Any predictions who the next will be? There has to be a group of players still waiting on making the call. Hopefully it increases the chances of a guy like Cujo getting signed.
Guest jaytan Report post Posted September 18, 2007 I've always liked him. It seemed like he was all but out of the league by now anyway.
Wings_Fan_In_Exile 3 Report post Posted September 18, 2007 He was a really solid goalie for a good chunk of his career. Problem was it was wasted playing behind terrible rosters for the most part. I remember when he was on the only reason the Phoenix Coyotes had a shot at some of the games I watched back in the day.

Cujo might have to go to Europe or break out some voodoo dolls at this point. Too bad too, I'd like to have seen him make one more run at the cup. wow 20 years for Burke... I thought he was younger for some reason. Best of luck in his new career.
Kp-Wings 3 Report post Posted September 19, 2007 It's too bad that he's played on bad teams for most of his career. He was an outstanding goalie, as shown by his international record. Best of luck, Burke, and hope it works out well for you.
