lfd250 1 Report post Posted September 21, 2007 First although they didn't raise ticket prices it seem that several of your food and beverages went up. Pop & ice cream is what I saw or heard. The pizza's are still $12.50. I didn't check on beer and I couldn't remember if Hot Dogs were $3 last year or not. It looks like hockey town cafe is going to have a bar in the arena. I'm not sure how big or what the deal is. They just had a section that said coming soon. No goal judges and there is what I consider a big delay from the puck going in until the red light goes on. Still the same old booths to buy stuff at and I didn't stop to check what was new for the year. The "last years stuff" booth had a bunch of playoff t-shirts still available. And there were some game worn jersey's available from older players in the Hockey Town Athh. booth. SHanny for one. I'm not sure what else others saw, but then again, there wasn't a lot of people there.

I thought they were $3.50 last year... although $2.75 sound right also. How much were the programs? still $
Rob the Badger 0 Report post Posted September 21, 2007 There are still goal judges, they just moved them. They made room where the judges used to be so that camera men could have a better shot at what was going on around the net.

Either end. There weren't any programs last night.
Guest Yzer19 Report post Posted September 21, 2007 Why would anyone pay $12.50 for a pizza that they can get for $5.00 at any of the many little caesers in the Detroit area either before or after the game? I never buy food or even drinks at any game that I go to. I always eat before I go.
Gizmo 21 Report post Posted September 21, 2007 Unles the goal judge was wearing a wings jersey I didn't see him. Either end. There weren't any programs last night. They showed them on TV. They judges were moved to platorms over the top of the entrances to the seating areas. Their view of the goals is roughly the same as people standing in the SRO areas. The didn't look too happy on TV, and I wouldn't either after going from the best seat in the house to that! As for the programs, the Wings don't publish programs for pre-season. But if you go by one of the JLA info booths, they'll give you a line-up sheet for free (at least they did last year). I'll be there tonight... Sec 115, row 1 on the aisle. My son and I got singles real cheap off of StubHub and we'll be swapping seats during the game. Our other ticket is Sec 121 Row 7, behind the bench. Look for the guy in the game worn Homer jersey!
