Detroit # 1 Fan 2,204 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 Downey with a nice try, it'd make my day to see Downey score!
Heaton 1 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 Cool. Just tuned in to the game and Z scores. Can anyone recap me on the rest of the game? Who scored the other goals? Any fights from Downey? Anything else important? I'd appreciate it. Downey hasn't fought or really done anything of note, good or bad. His line has looked decent but not really doing much. RedWingsFanatic 4 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 not able to watch the game right now. checking the box score, it looks like it's been all the first line and Draper again? Essentially.

YoungGuns1340 1 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 (edited) Downey hasn't fought or really done anything of note, good or bad. His line has looked decent but not really doing much. In like his first or second shift, he probably had 3 hits in 20 seconds. Of course, the home arena wont bank them. daniel1 32 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 BTW, Hank with 3 points tonight gives him 12 on the year and #1 in the NHL scoring race. I know it's early but it sure is nice to see anyways...

haroldsnepsts 4,826 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 Correct. The Wings would be scary good if they had a second line. And holy hell Draper continues to dominate on faceoffs. He's listed as winning 11 out of 15 tonight.

He's listed as winning 11 out of 15 tonight. If we had a second line, we would be set, yeah. We'd totally have one too, if Flip and Huds knew what was up. I'm sure they'll get it though...they just need...umm...I don't know, really. Got any ideas?

RedWingsFanatic 4 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 Ozzie has taken away a few goals from the Kings tonight. If we had a second line, we would be set, yeah. They need a jar on the bench that they have to put money in for every pass they make that should have been a shot.

He's listed as winning 11 out of 15 tonight. When Sammy and Franzen come back stick them with Filpulla and I think they will contribute. Draper can skate with Cleary and Hudler. That leaves Malts and Drake to play with Kopeky. After watching Z, Dats and Homer dominate I vote for leaving them together.
commadore183 103 Report post Posted October 15, 2007 OSGOOD Awesome play from the Wizard of Oz all night long. #1 star. Yeah, he's one of the reasons why we're still leading. He's played good. Surprise, surprise, a Wings PK Seriously, the Kings are NOT this clean.

Filppula is still very much in the defensive mindset, and thats fine as long as he works his way into the offensive mindset gradually. Then all we need is a young veteran goal scorer and this team is a top contender without a doubt.
