I think like 6 or more of the kings shots were on that PP though <_<

hoping they don't spend the whole evening killing penalties, I am with ya, RS.

OK, as I typed that they go on the PP again. son of a dammit

I'm hoping your right...but with how they are skating the penalties are needed to slow the Kings down, but once they are called the opposite occurs <_<

GO WINGS SCORE A SHORTY...Cleary that is for you since you are on my fantasy hockey team

They really should stop shooting the puck from the blue line every time they get possession and actually try to bring it in deep. All of our shots are getting blocked...

Ozzie is awesome tonight, though :)

Not happy with the 0-0 but we get a short PP in the start of the 2nd and at least the Kings didn't score in the first.

With injuries to two regulars, I'm surprised Babcock is sticking with Datyuk/Zetterberg/Holmstrom. It sort of creates a scenario where you have one outstanding line, one pretty decent one and then two fairly mediocre ones. Though, the Downey/Ellis/Drake line had a couple spirited shifts.

The only reason the Red Wings aren't losing is Chris Osgood. He's been really solid in his four periods so far this season. Hope he can keep it up.

Downey seems like a total class act. He came across as a really nice, humble guy in his interview with John Keating. I hope he finds a spot on the team as much as the next guy, but I'm not sure how likely that is.

Anyway, a pretty tame period from both teams. Nothing really of note.
