Ideally we should hope that Holland adds a top 4 dman by the trade deadline but until then we can let the young guys like Meech and Quincey get some minutes. Heck maybe even Ericsson and Kindl can get called up for a game or 2. I like what Holland has done. The Wings have $5 mil in Cap space and with the fast start, he can afford to be patient and have teams calling him. Not the other way around. Markov is an idiot for turning the Wings down. A chance to win a Cup is not important to him I guess. I don't want a guy like that on my team. I know he's tough and stepped up in the playoffs but so did many other Wings. The difference is they are not asking for way more than they are worth. By the way, how good does Rafalski look as a Red Wing? He looks as if he was born to play in the Winged Wheel.
