ZwedishWing 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 Interesting article and I agree there are quite many young prospects in the SEL this year. And I also agree that some of the ones getting the main attention in the article are interesting, but if I only got to pick one with the potential to be a real superstar I would go for Magnus Pääjärvi-Svensson mentioned in the "Swedes best yet to come"-section of the article. He really is something out of the ordinary. He's 16 years old and made his debut in SEL this autumn in Timrå. Still he is a fourth-liner with limited icetime, but I think he shows so much talent so I would be very surprised if he doesn't get his bigl breakthrough very soon. For sure he will be one of the ones getting the most interest in the 2009 draft. Unfortunately he probably won't be within Detroits reach due to the draft order. Right now actually there is a game starting at Sopcast between Timrå-Djurgården where you may see him play, even though it probably will be limited time. http://www.myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=...mp;part=sports# (VLC media player needed, instructions here: http://85.92.128.155/~myp2p/forum/viewtopic.php?id=20917 )

ZwedishWing 0 Report post Posted November 1, 2007 Is Dick Axelsson even playing in that game? I haven't seen him yet. No, he is injured. And Daniel Larsson wasn't playing either so that game wasn't very good for watching future Detroit players I guess. And on top of that Pääjärvi-Svensson that I was talking about was at the bench the whole game.
