Guest jaytan Report post Posted December 6, 2007 What a load of crap! Hasek does not deserve two starts in a row. We can't five Ozzie a chance to cool off!

Opie 308 Report post Posted December 6, 2007 (edited) Ozzie has proven that time off will not alter his game, I am not sure if it is his practice methods, work ethic, natural ability or what, but he doesn't slow down. I think this is Babcock seeing what Hasek has, can he do it twogames in a row. I can almost guarantee that babs had a chat with Ozzie and all three are aware of what is going on and what is to be expected based on the results. Hasek needs a chance to prove he can play, Ozzie will be fine, and hasn't "lost" his job, remember in pro sports you don't lose you job based on injury unless it is a situation like Brady/Bledsoe. Where the "new" guy is completely out performing the other guy. I think you will see a 50/50 split most of the rest of the way, unless Hasek falls flat or is injured again. Booster313 138 Report post Posted December 6, 2007 It's amazing to me that even when the team is playing as well as it is we still find things to argue about. russianswede919293 95 Report post Posted December 6, 2007 What a load of crap! Hasek does not deserve two starts in a row. We can't five Ozzie a chance to cool off! He won the last game why doesn't he deserve to play another one...not only did he win, he only let one goal in...not only that he had a .938 save percentage for the game.... I think he earned another start.... Oz won't cool off he is used to playing like this right now and it is not a big deal that he is not playing against the Wild...They will split time...rotate starts doesn't necessarily mean 1 start for one then one for another it means a few for you a few for him, they will be about even and it is a good thing to have them both playing well at the same time... Keep it up Ozzie and Keep it up Dom.

Williams29fan 6 Report post Posted December 6, 2007 I am cool with Dom playing...Good...he had a good game...good. But Ozzie's been doing this game in and game out...and he's leading the league. He's 13-1-1 ... he's be very solid ... and for every good stop Dom has made this season Ozzie's made 10 great stops...so this is nice, but I'm not impressed. Ozzie is way more trustworthy in net right now...especially in the playoffs as Dom seems to be showing his age. I hope both tenders can stay healthy through the duration, but all things equal...Ozzie should get more starts. I agree 100%. Sure Dom had a good game. Is that one game going to change the opinions of all of the LGW-ers? When Dom played those 3 game when he came back the first time, what happend then? Dom had a great game and then lost the next two before leaving due to injury again. Not to mention letting in a min of 4 goals if i remember correctly. I dont understand why we are putting in a cold goalie for a play-off condender team as it looks now! I say we give Friday's game to Ozzy and then put Dom in for the Hurricans and Preds. Not to mention there will be less time off for Ozzy in between those two games instead of ozzy not playing in a week and 1/2.
