GMRwings1983 8,804 Report post Posted December 13, 2007 Some part of me wants to see Kopecky in 1st line. If not for the whole night, maybe just couple of shifts. He is a big body who can hang on to puck and can finish the play Pav and Z set up. The other part of me is saying he does not play both ends of the ice well. But if I were Babcock, I would try the formula for a change. What has Kopecky done to deserve 1st line minutes? I want to see Hudler on the 1st line, to see how he plays with either Pavel or Hank feeding him the puck. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Opie 308 Report post Posted December 13, 2007 Right now I would like the wings to make every effort to keep Z and dats as well as Huds and Flips paired. Right now as the roster stands the team has to be thinking that barring injury these pairings will be together with the ZDH line when Homer is all set. It sounds weird to say pairings when talking about forward lines I know, but if you think about it the playmakers on those lines are Z-D and Huds-Flips.
