Huggy bear is fun when he opens it up, but that happens very rarely. Granted, the last 2 years it seems like he's opened it up a bit more, but as for his career, "Fun" is probably the last word anyone would use to describe his fighting style. NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted January 25, 2008 If nothing else, atleast AO will be protected for a couple more years. Seriously......time to turn that team around. It's well beyond ridiculous.

The ironic part is I don't think Brashear has ever really had to stand up for Ovechkin mostly because Ovechkin is doing the hitting.

NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted January 25, 2008 yeah most people are like oh lets hit AO hes a superstar forward he wont do anything, but he lays out some nice hits TBH, I don't feel many people have that perception of AO. I think he's well known around the league as not only a scorer but a physical hitter as well.
Viperar 16 Report post Posted January 25, 2008 TBH, I don't feel many people have that perception of AO. I think he's well known around the league as not only a scorer but a physical hitter as well. you wouldnt guess it from watching people hit him and then not even look up when AO is heading their way. Thats what makes me think they take him for granted in the hitting department. I dont think its widely known at all that AO has a hitting game. Might be due to the fact that he tears it up on the ice in other aspects.
