Thanks! there will DEF. be tickets available at the box office....but i suggest Craigslist or our own ticket exchange to save some money. I usually just take the "people mover" cause parking can get annoying.
KronwallCRUNCH 5 Report post Posted March 9, 2008 (edited) Yeah, I'd recommend craigslist/ebay, or just buy them from a scalper right before the game starts..when it gets closer to gametime, they get more desperate and want to unload them. If you're not from Detroit, you might as well just park at Cobo ($10,) or the JLA Garage (I think its $15?,) that way you won't have to wander around. You could also park in Greektown for free at the casino if you validate parking after the game and just take a shuttle from one of the bars there for free. Copenhagen848 58 Report post Posted March 9, 2008 I agree with parking at Cobo or JLA parking garage. Little expensive but will make life easier.

HockeyCrazy3033 168 Report post Posted March 10, 2008 I wouldn't be so sure that you could get tickets at the box office. They are selling out quickly. We just got tickets for Thursday against the Stars and there wasn't much else to choose from. How many people are going? If I were you, your best bet would be to get them through ticketmaster's site. You can just print 'em out. You don't want to take the chance of driving all the way up there with them being sold out. Especially with the Stars coming to town. It's going to be a big match up. redwing_sparty 0 Report post Posted March 10, 2008 best place to park is at the Greektown Casino. the new garage they have there does NOT require you to validate your parking. it is TOTALLY FREE!!! from there you can walk down the main greektown street and jump on the people mover for 50 cents. it is a great way to get to the game. it takes you right to the joe. after the game u take it back for another 50 cents. its very safe cause everyone going on the way back are people from the game. the parking garage is right off of the freeway. easy in, easy out. parking at the joe or at cobo is also convient but you will pay a bit for it. + of the people mover - you get a "lovely scenic" tour of detroit. haha. its the easiest way in my opinion. Wildwings44 5 Report post Posted March 10, 2008 First street parking garage is $10. Go to Hockeytown cafe before the game. Check out Cobo Joes after the game - next to first street parking garage
