FrozenPuck 0 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 Came across this article that gives props to Canes' prospect Chris Terry for helping an ailing teen in Plymouth. Seems Chris went out of his way to go visit this kid when he no longer could go to games - a kid who should never have to go through an illness like this - good for Chris to step up and be a great community guy. Konnan511 1,736 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 Which goes to prove why Hockey players are the best athletes in the world! I wish these stories made it out to the public, but then again that's all you'd hear in the news, about how great these hockey players are, instead of their brute and disregard for health and safety. Chris Terry, keep up the good work!
OsGOD 3 Report post Posted March 27, 2008 Yup Terry is one hell of a great kid on and off the ice... I was at the 15th game and heard all about this. It was a shame Bobby couldn't make it to the game. Chris Terry along with several over guys from the Whalers and around the OHL do so much for the community outside of hockey... Hats off to all of them!
