So, most times if the opposition can get a top 2 line out against Downey it doesn't result in a goal. Now let's rephrase you're post so that it is correct: There's more to Downey than just his fisticuffs. Now we all realize Downey is no Parros, but knowing that he is on the bench is nothing but a positive for our star players. Can you say the same for Hartigan? Some of the misinformed garbage that gets posted on these boards amazes me. *slight re-phrase of dr. cox off scrubs* That was such sweet ownage that I would by the ownage dinner, marry it, have sex with it and raise an entire family of tiny little ownages. But what I think could happen Zetterberg-Datsyuk-Holmstrom Filpula-Franzen-Cleary Hudler-Draper-Abdelkader Downey-Drake-McCarty Hartigan Helm Hartigan only takes penalties, hooking and holding ones mind you. Downey and McCarty will crash and bang and take some liberties with the Radulovs and Erats, something we're not used to seeing, something that will be crucial if we want to finish off the Preds in a good time (5-6 games). Plus, the scoring is there, dont really like Hudler having a spot, but the guy can pass the puck on the powerplay pretty well, so thats why he is in.
