All we've done tonight is give Ellis a s***ton of confidence. Where have I seen this before. This isnt the same team that made Mikka Kiprusoff look like a little boy in juniors... BINGO! Thank you! It's just another example of the Wings playing up to the level of their opponent. Unlike like teams such as Calgary or Anaheim, we never dictate the emotion in a game. We're always the chameleons, mirroring our opponents level of emotion. Wake the F**K UP Wings! Put down your swedish meatballs, pull out your balls and play like you want to kill someone. It's our style of play that makes life easy on goaltenders and gives them confidence. Oh, I'm with you on that one. The Wings are usually responsible for guys like Ellis, Roloson and the relatively-unknown-at-the-time J.S. Giguere look good. When Detroit simply refuses to just go to the net and bury the chances they get, we essentially give the opposing goalie all the confidence he'd ever need. Relax, we are controlling the game and Nashville is struggling to keep up, one fluke goal doesn't change that. It's not like they figured us out and we're any sort of trouble.
