What a great story he is.

Coming back from excel and making one of the top teams in the NHL. I think that would have been a good enough story. But then he goes out and scores the first goal of todays game. Just great!!! I"m so happy for him and i hope that he keeps this up for the rest of the playoffs.

Congrats to Dmac.

I got so excited for Mac when he scored that goal...it was amazing. Felt like old times. But more than him scoring that goal, Mac played really well--especially defensively. Those type of things go unnoticed by most, but he was real responsible on both ends of the ice today. Nice job Mac!

For me the best part of the goal is the ice time stat for D-Mac. If you look at the boxscore on tsn.com just go to http://tsn.ca/nhl/scores/boxscore/?id=2008041205 it lists d-mac as only getting 8 shifts and a total time on ice of 4:57! He managed to score a goal, get some hits in, motivate the croud, and make us all so proud all in less then five mins. What a champ!

It was so beutiful i nearly cried.

I was at darrens first IHL game this year and 2nd AHL game this year, and his First game returning to the wings this year. and for him to pop a goal in. It made me overjoyed.

now all he has to do is knock Tootoo the F out.

Also - I believe that I was the one who called it at the beginning of this season.

"That McCarty, Drake and Hartigan line is gonna come up big in the playoffs."

You knew McCarty was going to come back way at the begining of the season! Amazing, D-Mac himself did not even know he was going to play any hockey until mid November when Drapper and him were speaking. Your ability to predict the future makes you a physic.... (j/k)
