Inultus 12 Report post Posted April 14, 2008 Ever since NHL.com went to the new Flash based video, I can't get any videos to play. I've updated my Flash player and I still can't get anything to play, either in Firefox or Internet Explorer. Any suggestions? I never had a problem until they switched to their new video interface. I mainly want to see game highlights so I can just go to another site, but it's still pretty annoying.

I spent some time looking into this issue because I hate their flash interface that comes complete with ads and crappy video scaling quality. 1) Get this (its free): http://www.applian.com/flvplayer/ 2) Open this page in a browser: http://www.nhl.tv/team/highlights?xml=0 3) Copy the video clip url you want to watch and ctrl+v it into flv player. When I open the page you referenced, it's a jumbled mess, both in Explorer and Firefox. Am I seriously the only one with playback issues? I could understand it at work, because we have a firewall, but I have issues at home as well.
Xitium 272 Report post Posted April 16, 2008 NHL video will not play in Firefox, even when I allow it. It works fine in an IE compliant browser, though.
