A question about faceoffs.

I don't know if anyone else noticed how many times a wing got tossed from the faceoff in game 4.

I don't think Draper was actually given a chance to take a faceoff in the third period.

Draper is one of the best faceoff men in the league how can he get tossed so often in one game?

Am I just seeing things through the eyes of a homer?

It's not always the center's fault getting tossed. If the other players advance into the circle early the center can be tossed. I think that was more of the reason.

Visiting centers rarely get tossed from their actions, since their sticks have to be down first.

I think it was in game III that Drapes got the boot. Not sure who ended up taking the draw, but Draper grabbed the draw puck, passed, skated the length and took a pass and scored. Was fun to watch.

Not too call ya guys out but it happened both ways in the game.

Seemed like the ref was liking the spotlight a little too much. It seemed almost every draw someone would get tossed.

I'll agree, it mostly happened to the Wings, but it happened plenty to Nashville too.

Everyone in the bar was screaming for them to just "DROP THE F'N PUCK!"

I didn't indend to imply that only Wings players were getting tossed. It just seemed to me it was happening to the Wings more often in game 4 and in more crucial situations.

The deal with the lineman holding the puck has been there the whole series. I guess that could be why so many players are getting tossed. The linesman just needs to drop the f'n puck.

They can't drop the puck until things are square. If either player has their stick out of position and "illegally" on the other players rightful position, they won't drop the puck. They don't just wait for no reason.
