Why is Hudler on the 4th line?

I have defended Sammy ALL YEAR LONG, but to say anything other than he played like crap the last 2+ games is a lie.

He has had a hard time controlling the puck, now Yesterday you can blame that on expansion teams in the south with their 30 degree ice (I don't know the real temp, that was an exaggeration), but even in Det where the announcers made a point to say the ice was 2 degrees, he couldn't settle the puck on his stick. The puck seems to get to his stick and then the Mexican Jumping beans in the puck take over.

Huds deserves minutes over Sammy right now, and Sammy needs to be off of the ice on the PP.

I am not sure if Sammy is nervous or if he is just in a bad stretch but Huds deserves his minutes, however I would say that Huds, Helm(my first time seeing him, I really like the way he skates, whomever told me he was a Draper type skater I apologize, I thought you were full of s***! Sorry), and Mac deserve more ice time in general.

I LOVE THE WAY MAC DRIVES THE NET, as noted by the announcers he set up Huds goal, running through the slot like that, this is the second goal that his body position on a defender led to a goal, that last one he created the passing lane, and on his own goal, he bodied the defender away from where the puck ended up and tapped it home.

I don't understand the Samuelsson bashing... I don't like the guy yet I think he's playing pretty well. He skated into the zone a little to slow on one offensive rush today, and that's all I can think of. Other than that, he's getting pissed, putting the body on, roughing it up in the corners, and making decent passes.

Overall, there's usually much to blame on him, but for this series, he's looked good to me.

Dont understand??? He's sucks ass - lobs softballs into the goalies midsection, passes to the wrong colored jersey, hanging out on our blue line while the play is going into their zone, his backing checking looks like he is caressing the other player(when he does do it), checking is a joke, the opposing net has nothing to fear but the boards or anything else outside a 50ft radius of the net might - he is listed at 215 or so USE IT YOU TOOL - sit him. when he was out with injury - did you even notice his absence - i think we played better -

I like Hudler. I would like for him to come out and be a superstar someday, hopefully in Detroit. But he has to step up and be more consistent with his play. I think he played a good first round, and I hope he has a good second round. But I wouldn't go comparing him to Cleary. Everyone thinks that Cleary scores the occasional goal. Cleary does so much in the trenches, so much of the dirty work. Thats why he is making the big bucks now. Cleary always reminds me of the movie "Rudy" . He is small and doesn't quit. If Hudler and Flip did more of that, they would get more credit, minutes, and probably goals.

I don't know Babs is probably thinking:

I won 54 games this season, 50 the year before, 58 the year before that and a bunch of internet geeks (I include myself in that ) are questioning whether or not I know what to do with my forwards. I mean s***, it is not like I took the team to the WCF last year and injuries depleted my D!!!!!!
