TheWestWing 71 Report post Posted April 22, 2008 Watched the handshakes for DAL-ANA and MTL-BOS and noticed the coaches didn't stand in line to shake hands. I noticed Babs et al standing in line last night. I think I've seen this in the finals tho cant remember seeing any others than Babs in the prelims - have I just missed it? NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted April 22, 2008 (edited) Sometimes they don't. I've noticed plenty of times where the coaching staffs just shake hands with each other in the early rounds. Generally in the Finals though each coach shakes everyone's hand. Edit: (Kelsey) Grammar Edited April 22, 2008 by Never Forget Mac #

Doggy 130 Report post Posted April 22, 2008 So if we play Colorado next round, when it's all said and done will Babs and Tony Granato shake hands or just mother phuq each other? Tony Granato's a dickhead. His stupid ass got fired years ago for being a s*** coach. Why does he persist?
toby91_ca 620 Report post Posted April 22, 2008 As a general rule, I think Coaches do get in line and shake hands.
NeverForgetMac25 483 Report post Posted April 22, 2008 As a general rule, I think Coaches do get in line and shake hands. Agreed, but it seems to be more of a general rule. As I said, I've noticed plenty of times where coaches just shake the hands of the other coaching staff after the conclusion of a series in the early rounds. As they get deeper in to the playoffs though, you almost always see the coaching staff shaking hands with the other team.
Opie 308 Report post Posted April 22, 2008 Tony Granato's a dickhead. His stupid ass got fired years ago for being a s*** coach. Why does he persist? Because people feel bad for him knowing his sister was a better hockey player and will probably be a better coach!!!
