Vincanni 1 Report post Posted May 2, 2008 What would they have to gain from gooning it up? Sending a message for next years regular season?
gsusluvshockey 0 Report post Posted May 2, 2008 Mad Props to avs for not gooning it up. They looked a little frustrated at first but they soon accepted that injuring us would only result in fines.
Izzy24 44 Report post Posted May 2, 2008 I was actually quite impressed with the way they handled it, no goonery at all.

Unless the Wings defense had a catastrophic meltdown, the game was all but done for. It really would've done no good for the Avs to goon it up. The game was pretty much settled. Avs were facing elimination and the series was going to be done for. Just glad the 3rd period ended pretty quick for both teams.
