Didn't even think about the netting being in the way until the hat trick happened. My friend actually brought two extra hats because he said he had a feeling. JoeBuddy 10 Report post Posted May 2, 2008 yah someone threw octopus on the ice and he got beer thrown on him hagahahah One on the tsn commentators said that a wings fan threw a octopus on the ice and then had 8 beers thrown at him after doing so. That seems so trashy for fans throw beers at someone cheering for the visiting team. However, I shouldn't speak because when I was at the Wings vs. LA Kings game when the Kings came back and ended up winning by scoring 4 or 5 goals in the 3rd, some fan behind me threw their beer at some King's fan who had this very annoying cow bell.
