Where is the neutral zone trap ?

I have been watching all our playoff games, and I did not see any opponent playing the trap against us.

Nashville played a relatively physical series and defended pretty well, but did not play the trap.

Colorado and Dallas were playing like in the regular season, lots of skating, no real protection of the blue line.

I don't understand why our opponents are playing us like this. Most of the games looked like regular seasons games. This is probably the worst strategy against the Wings. Wings rock in the regular season type game with their puck possession and all

We really manhandled Colorado like no team since.. Blues 2002 ?

And Dallas will need to step up because they were just ridiculous in the Game 1... they are playing a pre-season game or what ???

Do you think Dallas will start playing the trap?

Anaheim swept arguably the best Wings roster (minus CuJo) ever with the trap in 2003!! The new rules really make the trap impossible ??

Nashville, Calgary, Boston, Minnesota, and NJ all were eliminated in the first round (trap or potential trap teams), and the League is better for it.

I for one have really enjoyed the high tempo games this playoffs.

I think Dallas will definitely play the trap, or something like it. Otherwise, they don't stand a chance. I remember in the last regular season game against us, they defended really well and beat us 1-0. That's pretty much what I expect them to do, and I'm surprised they didn't do it in Game 1.
