Opie 308 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 Samuelsson should not be a 2nd liner. He hasn't done much to prove himself this year IMO. It should look more like this: Datsyuk | Zetterberg | Holmstrom Cleary | Franzen | Filppula Hudler | Draper | Helm Maltby | Leino | McCarty Lidstrom | Rafalski Kronwall | Stuart Ericsson | Meech Players that should be moved/scratched: Drake, Downey, Kopecky, Lebda, Lilja Chelios and Hasek I assume will retire. Sammy is a role player on this team, with the emergence of Mule, Sammy's role is gone, therefore so is Sammy IMO!! I agree with these lines some what but I think Abdelkader is in instead of Maltby and Franzen is on Flip's wing not the other way around. Plus on D I see that last pairing as Ericsson | Cheli. I don't see Cheli retiring, I just don't see it happening and I think he is better than Meech as a defensive defenseman, plus that puts a vet with Ericsson. stevie for president 42 Report post Posted May 13, 2008 wouldnt the wings be better off playing leino in the AHL instead of on the 4th line? Im most likely wrong, but isnt 15-20 minutes of AHL experience a night better than 5-7 minutes of NHL experience a night?

Guest EZBAKETHAGANGSTA Report post Posted May 13, 2008 My Ideal Lineup Datsyuk | Zetterberg | Holmstrom Cleary/Fippulla | Franzen | Sammy Hudler | Leino | Fillpulla/Cleary Kopecky | Draper | Helm Scratches: Malt, Mccarty, Abedelkader. This gives us two very good secondary scoring lines Lidstrom | Rafalski Kronwall | Stuart Ericsson | Quincy Defense scratches: Meech Osgood Howard IDK, I kinda like Abedelkader in the linup to. Maybe package Fillpulla and a top d-prospect along with a first rounder for a bona fide scorer at the deadline? Id perfer sammy gone of course but Filp will actually get us something in return.
